A friend of mine got a reprint of this when we were in junior high. His folks had money, so he got a lot of neat stuff. I thought it was epic and cool. Trigo was unique in that he wasn't completely altruistic or humble to a fault like every other hero in comics I knew of--yet he was a sympathetic character. How his people went from primitive nomads to one day contend for planetary dominance against empires that already had aircraft when they were still on horseback left an impression on me.
As an adult, I found a copy of that reprint, and now it's sitting on my shelf Different cover than what you show here, though.
I've seen this pop up in my Amazon recommendations. It looks fantastic; I may have to deepen my knowledge of British adventure comics after I've finished reading my first Dan Dare book.
